Thank you, Mexico City, for making yesterday’s Gambero Tasting such a great experience!
It was wonderful to discover the vibrant wine culture here and to talk to so many wine professionals about the wines of Barone Pizzini and Pievalta.
Although the four wines we poured — Franciacorta Animante, Franciacorta Brut Nature, Pievalta Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, and Pievalta Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi San Paolo — were all well received, it was the Franciacorta Brut Nature that seemed to be the favorite among tasters.
They liked it so much, in fact, that we ran out of the wine! It was also poured at one of Gambero Rosso editor Marco Sabellico’s seminars.
And thank you, Gambero Rosso, for organizing such a wonderful event! The staff at the Four Seasons was fantastic and the catering by Il Becco, the hotel’s restaurant, was fantastic.
