Last week, we learned that Pievalta, the Barone Pizzini sister winery in Castelli di Jesi, had received multiple awards from the editors of the Slow Wine 2015 Guide.
Today, we found out that Barone Pizzini, the winery and one of its wines, has also impressed the Slow Wine judges.
Here’s the email that Barone Pizzini manager Marta Piovani received today (translation by the Barone Pizzini blogmaster):
Dear Barone Pizzini,
We would like to congratulate you because your winery has received the following awards:
CHIOCCIOLA (SNAIL AWARD, “a symbol assigned to wineries for the manner in which they express values — sensorial, territorial, and environmental — that align with those of Slow Food”).
Vino Slow (Slow Wine Award) for the Franciacorta Nature 2010.
