The greatest reward for any winemaker is knowing that her/his wines are being enjoyed by people who love great food and wine.
We were thrilled to learn that one of the top restaurants in the U.S., Ai Fiori in New York City, has added the Pievalta 2011 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore Dominé to its stellar wine list.
Ai Fiori’s “dinner menu is a soulful amalgamation of French technique and Italian passion, executed with great skill,” wrote Sam Sifton when he first reviewed the restaurant for the New York Times in 2011 when it opened. “It turns an Italian lens on haute French cooking to reveal French food as it might be cooked in Como for a table of aristocrats. This works out well for everyone: Ai Fiori is one of the best restaurants to open in New York in the last 12 months.”
There’s no sweeter reward than to know that the wine is being poured by people who share our passion.
