Frasassi Caves: just one of the great reasons to visit the Marches #spelunking

From the spelunking department…

We were geeked to see a new video by the Marches tourism board on the Frasassi Caves, one of the most visited “show caves” in Italy.

If you happen to be heading to the Marches this summer, check out the Marches tourism board YouTube. It’s brimming with all kinds of videos that highlight the Marches’ bounty of nature and small-town tourist destinations.

One of the things that we love about the Marches is that it is one of Italy’s most undeveloped regions. When you travel there, you see landscapes and small hill towns that have remained virtually unchanged since the 1970s.

And after a day of spelunking, be sure to visit the Pievalta winery in Maiolati Spontini!
